About Woodville Road Nursery
Established in 1960, Woodville Road Nursery is a landscaping company that specializes in quality designs for residential and commercial projects. Our own nursery allows for us to grow our own plant material and stock a large inventory. Customers can choose from a nice selection of healthy plants to take home or have delivered.
We also sell bulk hardwood mulches and screened topsoil. At The Stone Yard we carry a large inventory of landscape stone, supplying homeowner and contractors, including everything needed to complete your home hardscape project.
Our History
Timeline
1960
Tom J. Mlynek purchased the original property on Woodville Road. He began the nursery by growing seedlings and cuttings with the help of his three sons.
1975
One of the boys, Jim, worked at the business full time to help grow the company.
1980
The first of two buildings was constructed to provide a retail store.
2001
‘The Stone Yard’ was opened to supply customers with a large variety of natural landscaping stone, including brick pavers.
2006
The second building was erected to store equipment.
2002
Jim’s son Jimmy joined the company full time. Jimmy had been helping out since age 5.
Today
The business continues to be family-owned and operated. Jim Mlynek continues to lead the company to serve customers.
